West Seattle Remodel: Behind the Scenes

After nearly two decades in West Seattle, some exciting changes are underfoot! This southernmost location, located smack in the middle of the lively West Seattle Junction, has always been a customer favorite but things are about to get much more interesting.

Construction to expand our 19-year-old delivery kitchen kicked off on Monday this week. Come mid-June, customers can expect a spacious dining room decked out with a pizza-by-the-slice bar and Coke Freestyle Machine, and extended hours to open at 11 a.m. daily. Grabbing slices of our primo pies and a favorite soda concoction on the way to Alki will make for some epic beach picnics.

“Our customers are stoked,” says West Seattle Associate Manager Brandon Ogestelli, adding that the whole crew is pumped for the revamp, which includes enhancements to the kitchen as well. “We are looking forward to starting our prep work for pizzas earlier in the morning and supplying West Seattle customers with the freshest, most awesome slices ever!”

The changes don’t stop there, though. As the West Seattle Blog reported in March, we’ve already widened West Seattle’s delivery zone to include SW Thistle Street, from 28th Avenue SW to Fauntleroy Way SW. We’re also now delivering to the Pigeon Point neighborhood, which goes as far east as 19th Avenue SW, between SW Charleston Street and SW Genesee Street. Supervising the bolstered coverage is our new Delivery Driver Lead Willie Ellenberg. (More on Willie and our other new delivery driver leads soon!)
