May Community Giveaway: Macrina Cinnamon Rolls

During the pandemic, we surprised our customers with a series of giveaways to say thank you and to help support local businesses in a time of need. We delivered thousands of treats from the likes of  Rachel’s Ginger Beer, Cupcake Royale, DeLaurenti, Caffe Umbria, Coro by Salumi, Tom Douglas, and Macrina Bakery.  

We had so much fun doing it we’ve decided to give it another go.  

Order a whole pie for delivery on Tuesday, May 23, and we’ll treat you to a six-pack of Macrina Bakery’s Cinnamon Rolls while supplies last. Inspired by Leslie Mackie’s Grandmother Bakke’s incredible homemade cinnamon rolls, these rolls make a festive breakfast any day of the week or a great brunch centerpiece. 

Macrina starts with their buttery brioche dough and rolls it with cinnamon, brown sugar and butter. The interior of the rolls is soft and airy and spiked with cinnamon and that caramel-like sauce that forms when butter and brown sugar bake together. The crust is crisp and flaky, like a croissant. The best part: the silky-smooth not-too-sweet cream cheese glaze that tops them.  

The rolls come in oven-safe trays. Just pop the tray in the oven to warm them and dig into gooey deliciousness. Napkins (and finger licking) advised.
