Magnolia Grows Up

After 18 years in Magnolia, our little delivery kitchen at the corner of West Dravus and 17th Avenue West is about to get a lot more exciting. This location has seen a lot of change in the last year. It welcomed two new associate managers, Brandon Ogestelli, formerly at West Seattle, and Justin Burgess, promoted from shift leader; a new general manager, Ted Bartlett, who once managed our Queen Anne pizzeria; and gained two new pizza ovens to help crush the dinner rush with ease. But nothing compares to the developments currently underway.

When we planted roots on this large piece of land, Magnolia was a sleepy neighborhood packed with small-town-USA charm. We were an instant hit with customers. In fact, it was common to find families crowded into our tiny dining area after little league games across the street and ruddy soccer players grabbing pies to go during half-time. We knew this location would have to grow eventually.

As we watched Magnolia blossom over the years, we’ve finally decided the time has come to expand into our extra space. You may have noticed the construction already underway, and, if you’re a regular customer at this location, you’ve seen that the dining area has completely disappeared. Don’t worry, though. It’s all coming back tenfold. Before summer’s end, we’ll unveil a spacious dining room, pizza-by-the-slice bar, and outdoor seating. In the meantime, pick-up and delivery service will continue as usual. Check back soon for a behind-the-scenes look at Magnolia, and follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to keep up with the latest developments!
