Take a Bite Out of Hunger

Surrounded by sprawling farms, lush urban gardens and farm-to-table-inspired restaurants on every corner, Seattle is a nothing if not food-focused. With so much abundance, it’s unfathomable that Washington ranks 22nd in the country for food insecurity. That means that one in six households doesn’t have access to affordable, nutritious food on a regular basis. Going to bed hungry in a land of plenty just isn’t right.

To help put more meals on the table this month, we’re hosting food drives at our Queen Anne Delivery Kitchen for Northwest Harvest and our Shoreline Delivery Kitchen for Food Lifeline. Through the end of October, drop off donations at either of these locations or give donations to your delivery driver and we’ll give you a coupon for two free breadsticks.

This all leads up to our hunger-busting pizza party on Saturday, November 1, at Horizon Church located across the street from our Queen Anne Delivery Kitchen. Everyone who makes a non-perishable food donation from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. will get two free slices of pizza!
