Pagliacci Will Deliver an Oxbow Farms CSA Box to Your Door. Every Week.

It’s true - Pagliacci and Oxbow Farms are teaming up this season. Beginning June 17th you can have your weekly CSA box of produce delivered to your door along with your pizza. Or if you prefer, you can stop by your local Pagliacci store and pick up your box.

Oxbow Farm is a top notch local organic grower dedicated to changing the food system. They supply produce to a growing number of Seattle’s most celebrated restaurants, including Sitka & Spruce, Lark, Portage Bay Cafe, and The London Plane.

Located near Carnation, the 30-acre farm is in a rich agricultural valley by the Snoqualmie River. Their CSA program runs for 20 weeks, from mid-June through October 20th. The contents of each box represent the growing season, with June bringing lots of leafy greens, peas, and berries. By high summer, the boxes overflow with beans, cucumbers, squash, and tomatoes.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It is a way of partnering with a local farm. You pay up front for a share of their fruits and vegetables. Your investment helps them pay the bills during the spring when they have many expenses but little income.

Our interest in partnering with Oxbow Farm grew out of our love of their produce. Always looking for top ingredients, we sourced their Lacinato Kale for our Tuscan Kale seasonal pizza. In addition to consistently impressive vegetables, we love Oxbow Farm’s mission to educate people about the importance of environmental stewardship, their commitment to developing a local sustainable food supply, and their passion for building community through good food.

Nine of our locations (Ballard, Bridle Trails, Fremont, Juanita, Kenmore, Main Street in Bellevue, Miller Street in Capitol Hill, North Seattle, and Shoreline) are serving as drop sites. If you live within the delivery range of any of these locations, go to Oxbow.org/Pagliacci to learn how to sign up. Your box will arrive at your neighborhood Pagliacci on either Wednesdays or Thursdays (half our stores are one, half the other). If you order a pizza for delivery on your day, we will bring your CSA box along with your pizza order. Alternatively, you can drop by your store and pick up your box yourself.
