Music’s in Our Blood: Free Live Show at our Pike St. location in Capitol Hill
Join us on Thursday, November 2, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at our Pike Street location for a a live music and beer event!
Bloodworks Northwest provides 95% of the region’s hospitals with blood for various needs, including cancer and trauma transfusions. However, since the pandemic, blood donations have plunged by a staggering 35% — the present need is critical. For the third consecutive year, Bloodworks is joining forces with local businesses and the vibrant Seattle music community to amplify the urgent call for blood donors.
The fall campaign runs through Dec. 31 and includes a range of partners including KEXP, Sub Pop Records, Top Pot Doughnuts, Three Magnets Brewing Co., and Pagliacci Pizza.
At the November 2 event at Pike Street, we'll be unveiling a special edition beer spotlighting the Music’s in Our Blood campaign, and emphasizing the urgent need for blood donors. Sub Pop sensation Brittany Davis will play an acoustic set and the new beer will be sold for only $1 a can only during the event!
Bloodworks Northwest will be on hand hosting a table with information about the campaign and how to register to donate blood. The new beer, Punky’s Pizza Beer, has been exclusively crafted by Olympia’s Three Magnets Brewing Co. in partnership with Pagliacci and Sub Pop Records. Following the event, you can order this West Coast American Lager in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans through Pagliacci during the month of November.
See you there!
