Help Sweeten the Holidays for Plymouth Residents

Cookie Drive

Spread the Cheer: This is one donation that you’ll feel good about.

Plymouth Housing — which provides safe, warm homes for people who have experienced homelessness — is hosting a cookie donation drive for their residents. You can help make the holidays special for community members who have experienced homelessness by donating homemade or store-bought cookies. Plymouth hopes to receive 7,000 cookies so they can provide each of their 1,400 residents with a gift bag of cheerful baked goods.

Join us in sharing the holiday spirit! Your donation of homemade or store-bought cookies will bring warmth and joy to those who have faced homelessness.

How to participate:

About Plymouth Housing

Plymouth Housing’s compassionate, cost-effective solution to ending homelessness in Seattle has made them a regional leader in permanent supportive housing. Their housing-first model includes comprehensive support for residents — including medical and behavioral health care at several sites — with 24/7 on-site staffing. Permanent supportive housing isn’t just a step forward; it’s a lasting solution. With a remarkable 95% success rate, Plymouth provides residents with stable homes for the long term.

Plymouth Housing was founded in 1980 by Plymouth Church in downtown Seattle. Unhoused people often slept on its doorstep. Initially, congregants provided shelter and eventually formed a nonprofit that grew to provide housing with wraparound services. Today, Plymouth is no longer affiliated with the church, or with any religion. They currently house nearly 1,400 people in 17 buildings and are increasingly making a regional impact with a building in Bellevue, their first outside Seattle, and another slated for Redmond.

Recognizing the growing need seven years ago, Pagliacci pledged ongoing support to Plymouth Housing, becoming a premier sponsor and Challenge Fund supporter. Matt and Michelle Galvin, Pagliacci co-owners, have been deeply involved, and Matt is on the Plymouth Board currently. This year, Michelle co-chaired Plymouth’s Key to Hope, their signature annual fundraising luncheon (they raised over $1.6 million!). In addition, Pagliacci also frequently donates pizza for resident gatherings and gift cards for events and donor appreciation.

“Plymouth provides an evidence-based solution for the chronically unsheltered,” says Matt. “Their tremendous recent growth results from decades of hard work and compassionate care. What they do works.”
