Explore our new Silsul Location on Saturday, September 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and enjoy two free slices of pizza on us! Across the street from the vibrant Ballard Locks, the building has housed a restaurant since 1945. We remodeled the space to create a light, airy interior and extensive outdoor seating on a patio landscaped with native plants. The original beams that supported the roof are still in place—their beautiful wood stands out above the kitchen. To learn more about the Šilšulabš, the Duwamish group that first inhabited the area, visit our parklet in the front of our restaurant. Here you can view two carvings from the original structure by Jimmy John, a Nuu-chan-Nulth artist, and learn much more about the history of the location.
